Our year in review2014 Review

2014 has been an exciting and eventful year for Solution IP. As the festive season gets into full swing and the New Year approaches, we thought we’d take a quick look back at the year of 2014 in review, including some of the most significant events and some of the changes we’ve been through.


Growth and Development

The primary focus for Solution IP during this year has been to implement a number of key strategies aimed at improving our portfolio of services, and our relationships with both our clients and our own employees.

We have begun some exciting partnerships with new clients across the South West and the UK, and our Account Management team have been working hard on delivering the very best in customer service to our existing client base.

Key to our strategy is the ongoing development of our solutions in line with the idea of providing bespoke, Unified Communications systems that incorporate several different systems into a single, easy to manage, responsive system. This single solution is designed to deliver against a company’s unique business objectives, whether that be increased productivity, a modernisation of existing infrastructure, a relocation and expansion project, or a more reliable system for those companies where telephony is business critical.


Avaya iConnect Partner status

Our supplier relationships have also gone from strength to strength this year. Solution IP became Avaya’s sole iConnect Partner in the South West. Avaya are a global provider of business collaboration and communications solutions and services. Our selection as an iConnect Partner means that our clients, both existing and new, can benefit from exclusive Avaya products.

Avaya partners are well placed to deliver the best solutions for customers demanding sophisticated technologies that are competitively priced. iConnect partners also receive bespoke training and accreditations to enable us to be specialist Avaya suppliers, and means we keep up to date with all the latest equipment and systems.


Superfast Broadband and the Connection Vouchers scheme

Fast, reliable Data and Fibre connectivity services have been in increasingly in demand throughout 2014. Solution IP have invested heavily in providing a wide portfolio of services via industry leading carriers for the delivery of Fibre Broadband and SIP Trunk deployment, enabling our clients to manage Voice and Data communications more efficiently.

Additionally, we were chosen by Bristol City Council as a preferred supplier of high speed broadband services to businesses in Bristol and the South West looking to take advantage of the Government’s Connection Vouchers scheme. This scheme essentially provides up to £3,000 grant funding to those businesses looking to upgrade their existing connection to a superfast fibre connection. The scheme has experienced much interest and has just been extended into 2015.



Throughout 2014 we have continued to invest in our staff, both through the appointment of new team members and the promotion of existing employees. New appointments have included our new Marketing Manager, Operations Manager and Engineering Manager, all of whom are responsible for heading up their respective functions in line with our values and objectives. The growth of our team has significantly enhanced our ability to deliver excellent levels of service. We’d like to thank every one of our staff for their amazing efforts throughout 2014.



In May 2015, through acquisition, Solution IP welcomed on board a new client base, that of Versacom Solutions Ltd, another successful Bristol-based Voice and Data provider. Each and every Versacom client has been welcomed to the Solution IP family. We are appreciative of their continued support and happy that these new clients have made the decision to stay with us as their telecommunications partner of choice.


A new brand

In October we invested in a re-branding exercise including a new logo, website, social media channels and other resources and materials. Our new website provides an excellent platform for our audience to understand who we are, what values we hold dear, and the products and services Solution IP offer. It will be updated frequently, as will our blog, with exciting and informative new content.


Looking ahead

As we head towards 2015, we hope to continue building excellent relations with our clients, both existing and new, and are always looking at ways we can expand our product portfolio so that you can take advantage of the most up to date technology. We hope to continue adding to our team of experts and will be focussing on demonstrating our excellence by winning some industry accolades…watch this space!
